Description: Teekays Group’s Hyderabad new office building was inaugurated on 24th May 2008 @ 12:30 noon by Sri C.Parthasarathy, CMD Karvy Group. Sri Manoj Kumar, Director STPI, Hyd was the Guest of Honour.
Mr. Umar Teekay, MD, Teekays Group, felicitated the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour for spending their valuable time with us and for their continuous support. He also felicitated the Symmetrics Team, the architects and Mr. Abubacker Shafi for making this dream come true.
The whole Teekays family from Bangalore, Hyderabad & Chennai were present for the event. Several of our important clients, vendors and well wishers visited the new office . They congratulated us and wished us for our future endeavors.
On 22nd May 2008, Mr. Umar Teekay addressed the press in a press conference, detailing the groups’ performance over the past years and its future plans of diversification. He said “ Since we are already into the corporate interior business segment it was essential to go in for backward as well as forward integration to offer end-to-end solutions to our clients”.
Teekays Group has set up Teekays MDF (I) Ltd. as part of its backward integration for manufacturing MDF. To support the raw material need of the same Teekays Plantation (I) Ltd is being promoted. Also as a predecessor to the manufacturing of MDF, Teekays group is setting up a short cycle lamination plant. As a part of its forward integration, Teekays Group has embarked on a new venture called Teekays Prime properties (I) Ltd. which will be developing IT parks in tier Two cities like Mysore and Mangalore.
The news was well covered in major newspapers like, The Hindu Business Line, The Hindu, Business Standard, Indian Express, Eenadu and others.
On the following day, the 23rd May, the religious ceremonies for the inauguration were performed. On the same day the felicitation ceremony of our contractors, vendors and artisans for making the new office building a state-of-the-art facility, was organized.
